A surprising dramatization of George W. Bush’s presidency. Good casting.
By the numbers biopic. Brolin is fantastic as the POTUS but that is where it stops. It just moves at a snail’s pace with nothing to say
It was alright… Richard Dreyfus did an uncanny portrayal of Dick.
Less about Bush's presidency and more about his personal life, family issues and running for president. You don't have to like Bush to enjoy
Josh Brolin is coming into his own as a serious actor. If he can make W. Likeable he did the man justice.
Does Oliver Stone make satire? Or are his movies just so mediocre that it seems like he satirizes himself.
A pretty forgetful outing, but saved by Brolin’s very impressive performance as the titular George Doublyuh.
Depicts George Bush as an empty vessel, looking to his advisors like his father and Condi Rice, who know less than he does.
