Teaching is hard work. And then you go and make it harder on yourself. Great charming work by the support cast to further humanize Gosling
Ryan Gosling saves this from being terrible. Decent story carried far by an amazing Gosling.
I remember watching this when it first came out and thinking, ‘wow this is The Notebook guy??’
Starts slowly but manages to piece together a bleak portrait of interpersonal grief between the two lead characters.
It really helped me understand what certain people go through in life and it opened up my perspective and respect for others
Gosling is the movie. It is a slower, painful character study about addiction and it’s on his shoulders and he carries it to great results
