Scared the be-jesus outta me when I was a kid, a hilarious watch now! 6/10
Very confusing. Best part was seeing Sunny Bono make a guest appearance. Tried to like the idea of the movie...but simply couldn't.
The concept was there. The plot left a far bit to be desired
So bad it almost gets good. The movie has some weird practical effects but I wouldn't recommend it even if you're a little curious.
Ironically, the things that are bad about Troll are what make it more fun to watch than our average dark 80s fantasy movie. BAD acting.
A goofy comedic fantasy that doesn’t take itself too seriously
This is fun because it knows it's a b movie and leans into it. Fun cast too.does it count as the first time Harry Potter appears in a movie?
Horrible one of the best bad movies ever
Hilariously bad, I recommend watching just because of that. The fact that the sequel has nothing to do with the first one is also hilarious

When a family moves into a San Francisco apartment, an opportunistic troll decides to make his move and take possession of little Wendy, thereby paving the way for new troll recruits, the first in his army that will take eventual control of the planet. We soon discover Torok is the ex-husband of Eunice St. Clair, a resident in the building who was married to Torok.
When young Joshua learns that he will be going on vacation with his family to a small town called Nilbog, he protests adamantly. He is warned by the spirit of his deceased grandfather that goblins populate the town. His parents, Michael and Diana, dismiss his apprehensions, but soon learn to appreciate their son's warnings. Guided by his grandfather's ghost, will Joshua and his family stand a chance in fighting off these evil beings?
During building work in the city of Baden-Baden in 2015, an evil troll who was transformed into stone in the 15th century, is accidentally brought back to life. To prevent being unmasked, the Troll slips into the body of Vanessa and enslaves her. Vanessa Troll then goes looking for Charlie, the virgin boyfriend of Vanessa's daughter, as The Troll needs his blood to evoke a portal to a magical prison. Will the Troll's plans find success?
