Gregory Peck’s gravitas and humanity in his performance is remarkable. A near-perfect adaptation of a classic book.

Beautifully acted, stays true to book but you really need to read the book to connect the film pieces. Use of b&w keeps this in the past

It’s an absolute classic.. they don’t make movies like this anymore. Def a slow burn, but a MUST WATCH for any “real” movie buff out there.

There's a reason that this is a m9vie that we watched in school as a part of the curriculum. And my appreciation for it only grows as I age

It brings to life the world of the novel about as well as can be expected. An extremely captivating story.

Pretty great adaptation of a really fascinating story. Awesome performances, despite being older and slower, this is pretty solid

Deals with race and rape in a subtle and almost childlike way
