Fun-scary for the little ones. Based on a Roald Dahl story, but not as dark as the book's ending. No jump scares, just gnarly masks
A family-horror movie w/ warm tone done right! Angelica Huston is wonderfully hammy, the entire cast is solid, direction & score are spot-on.
Angelica Houston is a icon. This movie is awesome. Scared the crap out of me as a kid.
quite a unique kid's film, something different and captivating
"The original is the best a great film from a Roald Dahl book and great performances by all never get bored of this one 🧙♀️🧹
One of the weirdest "kids" movies I've seen. I get why children were terrified, especially during that mouse transformation scene.
A Be-Witching Delight Blend of Camp, Comedy, & Horror done in Jim Henson's unexpected way
Really nostalgic to watch. Scared the crap outta me as a kid. But I still recommend!
Such a charming film for it’s time. Everything about it is just solid. Alright the acting is a bit goofy but that don’t matter. Still good
I loved this movie as a kid it scared the crap out of me but it’s not as good as an adult
