I found a VHS copy of this at a thrift store when I was a teen and was absolutely floored. By far one of the best cult-classic horror films.
Contrasting Christian and pagan worldviews, the movie is a classic mystery as an outsider comes to town. Refreshing British folk soundtrack.
Old school horror. Wasn't expecting the musical aspects, but I think it works.
Watching it I kept thinking gosh this guy is judgy and has some misunderstandings of neopaganism. Not sure it’s really a horror though.
