I couldn't relate well, maybe because I 'm not Catholic. Have a friend raised Catholic who's a novelist. He liked it. I defer to him.
.. a little bit biased to the left wing, but still a good movie!
I’m not at all religious, but I really liked this movie.
I'm not a Catholic, but this really warmed my heart. All scenes with Hopkins & Pryce together were super enjoyable.
This film humanizes the figure of the pope while also giving some hints of Francis's own theology and messages about providence and grace.
Obviously well done. Watched about 45 minutes and despite the solid filmmaking, I did not care
i thought this movie would be a lot more dry, but the acting lulled me in. makes you interested in the true story
Loved the ability to have genuinely funny moments followed by lowest of lows. Did not hold back from hard topics. So we'll done.
Fascinating look at the personalities of two very different people who had tremendous respect for each other.
A movie not focused on the narrative, but the meaning behind the words spoke. Even the holiest of us struggle with God's alleged absence.
