It was fine on its own, just don't compare it to Chinatown.
A great tribute to the greatest film noir ever made
Nicholson has director chops. The sequel unfortunately relies too heavily onChinatown.The film would have been better as a standalone.Fresh.
No way it was going to be on par with Chinatown. Still decent, if disappointing.
It’s really very good, just not quite as good as Chinatown, but that’s a pretty tall order to live up to.
Underrated Chinatown sequel is a decent film in its own way. I wish it had done better so we had gotten a second sequel. Nicholson is great.
Decent follow up to Chinatown worth watching
It’s the same film, Nicholson gets played as a pawn in a wider conspiracy and investigates. A watered-down Chinatown.
So many millions credit Jack as the consummate actor but that doesn't mean he couldn't put a foot wrong with some films, this 4 example!🤨
Its okay. Too much of a gap between the films. Just watch Chinatown again.
