Super unique among military movies - has you on the edge of your seat constantly but not only because you’re worried they might die.
Under-appreciated modern war movie, in same ranks as American Sniper, Black Hawk Down & Jarhead. Immersing you in nerve shredding tension!
It's one of the forgettable Oscar winners but it had me on the edge of my seat and I really enjoyed it.

Bomb disposal & dealing with IED’s on a daily basis has got to be one of the most nerve racking jobs out there, harrowing, nail biting stuff

This movie does an excellent job at making EOD very low on my dream jobs list. Next to kindergarten teacher, and spider farmer. Loved it.
Kathryn Bigelow’s triumph captures the senselessness and rush of war, while teaching a masterclass in tension building. Renner is the bomb.
It’s well acted. But when it comes to military accuracy it misses in a massive way.
