Loved it up until the end. They changed the ending to be much more hopeful than the novel. It cuts the story’s power a bit.
Great movie that's difficult to watch due to the subject matter. Henry Fonda is fantastic.
A near-flawless movie with riveting performances by Fonda and Darwell. Ford's vision of Steinbeck's novel is still relevant.

I watched in American History class. At the time I wasn’t into film but I remember loving it. Great early film about the Great Depression.

Hard to imagine such hard times and a lack of empathy. But extreme times do wild things to people. Can’t blame Tom.
