The Gods Must Be Crazy
Action • PG • 1980 • 1 hr 49 min
This movie hasn’t aged well, but there are still some funny gags, and the moral about avoiding meddling with indigenous cultures holds up.
It was a good movie back in the day but would probably get cancelled now so I will just leave it at that.
Clever plot with many memorable moments. The guy on the cover is not Trevor Noah.
If your curiose about how much trouble a single coke bottle can cause, this movie is for you.
I laughed so much when I watched it as a kid.
A classic screwball comedy. It took them years to actually pay the bushman actor, and he used all his money helping his family and village.
Entertaining movie that is very fun and unique.
Has some of the funniest moments you will see on a movie, but overall just an average movie.
It shows the reality of different culture. I don't like the name of the movie.
Interesting examination of how cultural markers among humans affects their perception.
A Coca-Cola bottle dropped from an airplane raises havoc among a normally peaceful tribe of African bushmen who believe it to be a utensil of the gods.
Xixo is back again. This time, his children accidentally stow away on a fast-moving poachers' truck, unable to get off, and Xixo sets out to rescue them. Along the way, he encounters a couple of soldiers trying to capture each other and a pilot and passenger of a small plane, who are each having a few problems of their own.
