I actually love this movie. It's not the original, but i liked the characters and found the ending satisfying.
An unworthy sequel to the first film. Badly written, and logic flies out the window.
This is a rare horror sequel that is actually good, because it pays respect to the original and doesn’t lean too hard into silliness.
Not the best as the first movie but still good enough.
I'd convinced myself that The Fly II was a bad film. In retrospect, its is only bad when compared to its groundbreaking predecessor.
Fails to capture the horror and intensity of the original, making it a forgettable addition to the series.

In comparison to Cronenberg's original, this is a warm and fuzzy feelgood fluffpiece. Worth a laugh with stoned pals at best.
After the epic effort of the first instalment this is a dreadful watch.

When brilliant, eccentric scientist Seth Brundle makes a huge technological breakthrough in teleportation, he decides to test it on himself. Unbeknownst to him, a common housefly manages to get inside the device and the two become one.
Martin Brundle, born of the human/fly, is adopted by his father's place of employment (Bartok Inc.) while the employees simply wait for his mutant chromosomes to come out of their dormant state.
