This movie is a lot of things. Primarily, it's an incredible vehicle for two of the most charismatic movie stars in Hollywood history.

Definitely Scorsese’s “for them” and “for me” movie. You can tell Fast Eddie really interested him. My new fav Tom Cruise performance too!

Decent watch, recommend The Hustler to those who have not seen it.

Innovative camera work from Scorsese and great performances from Cruise and Newman. The two character arcs play well with each other.

marty Newman & TC - if that doesn’t sell you idk what will. Only nitpick is cruise can be a bit over the top but it does fit the character

Scorcese's megalomaniac camera movements and Paul Newman being a badass is reason enough to watch this rare gem of sports drama.

Paul Newman is so beautiful in this movie, it’s hard to pay attention to the story. But it’s a good one if you manage to.

Paul Newman and Scorsese cover up for Tom Cruise and make it very entertaining one.
