A quasi-coming of age story to help decipher what actually matters in life; effortlessly plays with the humor found in some dark situations.
Really well done. Not the typical romantic comedy.
Going in to this movie with a blank slate, the twist really hit me hard. A rom-com to a drama with a sprinkle of dark humor. Great movie
Even better when you find the story behind it.
Kumail struggles to balance his career, family and love life in this well paced dramady based on his life. Loved the scenes with the parents
Wow. Not normally a fan of rom-coms but this one takes some real turns that really fill it out and prevent fluff. Solid story and acting.
It was very watchable. I didn’t get the hype about the screenplay though.
Heartwarming, but also meaningful and hilarious, my comedy pick of the year
Based on a true story. Charming and funny.
Brilliant movie that draws you in with a romcom promise but turns out to be a heartfelt testimony to real love with well written comedy.
