The plot kind of wanders around giving no compelling reason for it to be a movie. Has the vibe of a TV series “very special episode.”
Pretty predictable and forgettable long term, but amazing cast and entertaining if you’re looking for a sweet & funny holiday romcom/drama!
It made me cry. It’s still a fun cast, but I like the original film better. This was just melodrama atop melodrama with a hint of pine.
If you like Tyler Perry movies, it's for you. If not, then it's not a good movie.
For any fans of the first, its a fun revisit. Beyond that its not overly interesting. Just more of the same drama without any deception.
