Was good when it was new but clearly outdated. A film that’s better to remember than to rewatch.
Yet another Aaron Sorkin masterpiece. The acting brings the script to the life and Michael Douglas never disappoints.
From the same writer as The West Wing. A good dramedy about American politics.

In my top 10 romcoms. Liberal political fairytale complete with happy ending. Brilliant dialogue! Amazing leads and supporting cast!
A noticeably pre-Lewinski film. Also in one part he praises ACLU for defending the bill of rights just before saying he'll ban handguns. lol
A nice romance. A little outdated now, but still an overall solid film
As far as romantic comedies go, this one isn't particularly nauseating.

Veteran catcher Crash Davis is brought to the minor league Durham Bulls to help their up and coming pitching prospect, "Nuke" Laloosh. Their relationship gets off to a rocky start and is further complicated when baseball groupie Annie Savoy sets her sights on the two men.
