Its Cocteau’s poetry in visual form! However it is better if you see the other films first

Fair warning: it's artsy. However, it is a beautiful film with deep themes, and a fitting end to Cocteau's Orphic trilogy. Amazing.

Heavily constructed on poetic metaphors and meta references. The camera turns to Jean where he’s lead through the world he created.
