A classic, but suffers a bit from aging. Still has a special place in my heart.
A classic film, and one that is decent to watch with the family.

I adored this movie as a girl, and it’s still great. I watched it until the TAPE died. Yeah. Take that one in, kids.
It earns stars for nostalgic reasons for me. Unfortunately, the colonial, gender, and race tropes leave it marooned as a relic of the past.
Good memories from my childhood, made me feel like i was part of the adventure.
Puts me to sleep every. single. time. But not in a bad way! It’s so calming and makes me feel like I’m five again.
Oldie for sure. Was great in its time but is tougher to watch now.

A Disney film and with a great actor in John Mills one of my favourites based on a family who are shipwrecked and survive on a island 🌠

Returning from a hunting trip in the forest, the Henderson family's car hits an animal in the road. At first they fear it was a man, but when they examine the "body" they find it's a "bigfoot". They think it's dead so they decide to take it home (there could be some money in this). As you guessed, it isn't dead. Far from being the ferocious monster they fear "Harry" to be, he's a friendly giant.
