This was a fun entry in the nostalgia kids solve mystery genre. Still not as scary as ET, but that’s ok with me.
Feels like a Spielberg movie with J.J. Abrams’ direction. I love it.
Very much a stranger things vibe, it was good, but not amazing
Great movie, I don’t like aliens but this movie does it great. It’s a mixture of the new it movies mixed with E.T, crazies and stand by me
Honestly, probably one of my favorite movies to recommend to people. If you love teenage sci-fi/action movies this is the one for you. 
Incredible blockbuster. Great teen actors. Little bit of a slower pace, but it stays interesting with great dialogue and sci-fi mystery.
Mix of sci-fi and thriller with a hint of “pay the f attention” so you get a awesome movie, slower than it should be unfortunately

Like a modern day Goonies this youth-led group of film buffs crosses paths with the government & an extraterrestrial just trying to get home
The underrated and original precursor to stranger things — great combination of sci-fi with nostalgia and heart

Ray Ferrier is a divorced dockworker and less-than-perfect father. Soon after his ex-wife and her new husband drop off his teenage son and young daughter for a rare weekend visit, a strange and powerful lightning storm touches down.
