One of the craziest movies I’ve seen in awhile. More of a philosophical horror than anything, but that’s exactly why I loved it.
Just, wow. Weird in every way. Stunning and dark.

Damn it I need to rewatch. Saw it it in early 2000’s and loved it. It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure I’d still find it great Japan style
An extremely shocking and graphic opening scene is the only part worth watching. This just doesn’t translate well for western audiences.
Detective Kuroda is the japanese Robert California.
Maybe I'm missing the cultural context. But I didn't find anything particularly interesting here.
Its quite an odd movie with no rewatch value.
