Dance movies are a love of mine. Has some ridiculous and cheesy parts but that's all part of it. Worth a watch only of you like dance films.
Decent watch for those interested in breakdancing and hip hop culture
Product of its time so some of the writing & acting is wild, but it’s such a good nostalgic watch if you liked it in the 2000s!

After the death of his younger brother, a troubled 19-year-old street dancer from Los Angeles is able to bypass juvenile hall by enrolling in the historically black, Truth University in Atlanta, Georgia. But his efforts to get an education and woo the girl he likes are sidelined when he is courted by the top two campus fraternities, both of which want and need his fierce street-style dance moves to win the highly coveted national step show competition.
Chance Harris looks to find a balance between his school, work, relationships and opportunity to perform at the nationally televised step competition during homecoming weekend at Truth University.
