One of my go-to’s. Mamet let’s the acting breathe and the actors reward him for it.
Has not survived that well, but somehow still has a good vibe to it.
It’s Mamet at his most whimsical though it still retains the specificity if language you would expect from him.
Not terrific, but not terrible either. Couldn’t hold my attention. William H Macy carried however

Amazing cast and concept. Definitely some clever writing, but it doesn't coalesce into anything particularly meaningful or memorable.
While I like the movie overall, I didn't enjoy how pedophilia was played for laughs.
Mamet as always: witty and quick dialogue delivered by great cast
dialogue is flat but you get the sense someone was trying really hard when they wrote it. great cast tho, especially baldwin & macy.
