Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Science Fiction • G • 1979 • 2 hr 12 min
Such a definitive part of the Star Trek catalog, a must watch for any ST fan.
It can be a bit slow admittedly, but visuals hold strong for the most part & it boosts solid atmosphere. And the cast is up to task.
Better than it’s reputation, the movie has good visual effects and an interesting story. Though some may do ind the pacing slow.
Great score and visuals help propel a semi-decent story, Star trek’s love letter to Stanley Kubrick
some needlessly long shots and not much in the way of story, but still an engaging movie with some beautiful effects especially for the time
why did they make such long external shots of the enterprise or vger? Btw If you like the franchise you will at least appreciate this!
A bit slow & less memorable than their other entries, not the strongest entry in the franchise, but still a good sci-fi,a must-watch! 6.9/10
The starship crew reunite and kick the tires of the starship. More of a family reunion than adventure. Tepid but give the crew a break.
So so so slow but a pretty decent third act
It’s soooo boring… but it’s a passable movie. Leonard Nimoy is probably the best part.
