It definitely something but it really interesting premise but the film meaning I think young adults would appreciate and the cast is great.
Really, the film that allowed A24 to not only get their first real mainstream exposure, but bring weird, auteur films to the masses
You think it’s one type of trashy movie only to realize it’s a completely different type of trashy movie. Amazing trashiness all around
I feared for these girls safety at every moment of the film making the end punch it's weight. It isn't for everyone, but it's interesting.
Ignore the story/characters, this is a fine piece of directing and editing. Each scene bleeds seamlessly into the next, hypnotic and sensual
A surprisingly good, albeit shallow movie with a good mix of tense drama and humor.
A twisted perversion of the optimistic Americana we’d like to believe in, but have lost faith in. 8/10
This movie knows what it is, and that makes it better. James Franco gives an Oscar-worthy performance as a ridiculous character.
I legit thought all critics were trolling when recomending this. Turns out it's a very cool movie. For real.
Beautifully shot. Feels very dreamlike.

He has complete free reign of the house, and a beautiful young hottie named Ashley has just moved in next door. There’s only one problem—he’s not allowed to leave the house. Kale’s under court-ordered house arrest for three months, and if he takes one step beyond a 100-foot perimeter of the house, his next confinement will be in a real prison.
