The story and acting are fine, but the scary imagery, production, violence and atmosphere are all top notch.
Gorgeous set, costume, music, cinematography, fx - all portrayed perfectly spooky & gory. It's a little contrived but perfect for Halloween
Bro every time Burton and 1999 movies are always great
You like gothic? Like classic stories? Johnny depp? Metic tone of blood? Christopher walkin as the god damn horsemen? Need I say more???
I love the classic Burton touch of creepiness with dark humor. Johnny was a wonderful Ichabod.
Much better than I remembered. Dark and eerie. Some laughs but this one had more of a horror feel. It looked great. Solid Tim Burton stuff.
The perfect story & setting for Burton’s style. A blanched countryside splashed with crimson by ghastly beheadings makes stunning atmosphere
Peak Tim Burton — dark, stylish, and just the right amount of spooky.
This was really good. It held my attention the entire time. I don't know if it is accurate to the novel but I liked it
a spooky gothic treat, dripping as much with style as it is with blood! a little hard to follow at times but makes up for it with atmosphere
