Surprisingly amusing. Come for Kathleen Turner directed by John Waters, stay for the Party Hearst and L7 cameos.
This movie fucking rules. Suburban mom goes completely deranged in a John Waters classic (his personal favorite film he’s made)
Simple, funny, not very memorable, but it was a good laugh for an hour and a half.
Dark, skewering of suburban life, perfectly cast actors make this campy and fun but also grounded
Hilarious, incredible performances. John Waters' best. Such a perfect combo of horror and comedy.
One of the best examples of a dark comedy. Relevant today by the media sensationalizing a serial killer.
Fun and ridiculous satire, Kathleen Turner is great
This movie is not even particularly good but there is something about it that I enjoyed
John Waters really nailed this. Such a well written black comedy. Turner is superb in a career-best performance. Great film.
A delight. Satirizes suburbia, being a “good mom”, and our national obsession with serial killers without being cruel or cheap.
