On the finger on the pulse of the 1977's, and music of the Bee Gees is the embodiment of the time. This makes us forgettable its darkness.
Great slice of reality for this NY young adult with nothing on his mind but women and disco dancing
The Bee Gees score paired with Travolta’s dancing is electrifying but the plot itself is actually quite dark & deeper than its disco surface
Still relevant and engaging, it’s a great look into the disco era. Travolta is terrific and The Bee Gees soundtrack is a perfect touch.

It’s a great film in so many respects. People are flawed. Then & now. A lot may seem dated bc it’s a slice of life from a different time.
