An alright kids movie. The protagonist cast was alright and I kind of liked the endangered objective. But couldn’t get original cast?
Not as good as the original, but it's okay. Seeing Matthew Lillard play a dad makes me feel old.

A young girl inhabits an isolated island with her scientist father and communicates with a reclusive author of the novel she's reading.
Fourteen year old Nim, more determined than ever to protect her island and all the wildlife that call it home, faces off against resort developers and animal poachers.
