I don’t like musicals at all but I can appreciate this movie for what it is
A heart wrenching and beautiful look into the lives of a group of friends living with and among the AIDS epidemic in NYC.

I enjoy the music too much but let's be honest it's not doing the social commentary it thinks it is. look pretty. do nothing.
I don't usually watch musicals, but I liked the music, cinematography and awareness brought to some of the important topics in this movie.
