The most depressing horror movie I've seen in a while. Australian horror continues to knock it out of the park!
A metaphor for dementia done substantially well
An empathetic horror movie about aging and the mind. Plays with set design in inventive and unsettling ways. The ending sticks with you.
A well struck balance between horror and emotion. Very sad, and beautiful ending to a terrifying experience of dementia.

This is a very clever metaphor, but something just feels lacking. One thing is for sure: that ending is going down in horror history.
Ignore the message. The message weakens the horror, because the fear here is the unknown. And it's bloody creepy.
Fragility and ageing take centre stage in this engrossing Aussie horror.
The whole film explores the concept of dementia like an art piece. The ending is haunting & full of a dark acceptance.
