My favorite non-Disney kid movie. VERY Underrated film. Songs, story and artwork are all amazing.
Kind of a Mulan-y take on Arthurian legend, but with romance shoved down your throat. 2 stars for the nostalgia and the griffin
The core story is fine but there’s just a mishmash of random STUFF added on top that I do not understand.

I watched it as a kid and watched it just once or maybe a few times in children world that means it was boring if you don’t watch it 24/7
I mean it was alright the characters were likeable story was intriguing plot felt like a quest the design of the antagonists was cool ight.
It's got personality and great music. Simply pure enjoyement

When a sprite named Crysta shrinks a human boy, Zak, down to her size, he vows to help the magical fairy folk stop a greedy logging company from destroying their home: the pristine rainforest known as FernGully. Zak and his new friends fight to defend FernGully from lumberjacks — and the vengeful spirit they accidentally unleash after chopping down a magic tree.
Taran is an assistant pigkeeper with boyish dreams of becoming a great warrior. However, he has to put the daydreaming aside when his charge, an oracular pig named Hen Wen, is kidnapped by an evil lord known as the Horned King. The villain hopes Hen will show him the way to The Black Cauldron, which has the power to create a giant army of unstoppable soldiers.
The beautiful princess Odette is transformed into a swan by an evil sorcerer's spell. Held captive at an enchanted lake, she befriends Jean-Bob the frog, Speed the turtle and Puffin the bird. Despite their struggle to keep the princess safe, these good-natured creatures can do nothing about the sorcerer's spell, which can only be broken by a vow of everlasting love.
