Good franchise starter. Love how the puppets have their own personalities.
Pretty mediocre but it has fun being a movie. The puppets are what you should really be watching it for. Really cool special effects.

I like the puppets fine, but the gore effects, story, and characters are bland at best and laughably bad at worst. Sequels better get better
A very fun film about killer puppets. The unique puppets with their individual traits are the best part of the film. Nice theme song too.

If tiny puppets that you can step terrify you, then this is for you. Otherwise, you'll wonder this became a franchise.
Special effects and deaths are fun enough if you’re bored, but the paper thin plot and overall film doesn’t nearly earn it it’s cult status.

After being contacted by their mysterious former colleague, four psychics arrive at a secluded hotel where they are stalked by a group of murderous puppets.
A new team of paranormal researchers has come to the hotel to investigate its murder-soaked past; the puppets -- led by a new member, Torch -- shed some light on the matter, as they tunnel, burn, strangle and hook to survive.
