Has a strong core, but far too often it strays off onto a tangent that doesn't really fit into the narrative. Still a worthwhile documentary
A very entertaining, moving, and dreamy documentary about NY’s drag scene in the ‘80s. The interviews are so intimate and warm. A must-see.

Without spoiling it, the beach interview scene near the end almost makes me cry every time I watch it. This is an important film, period.

A man wanders out of the desert not knowing who he is. His brother finds him, and helps to pull his memory back of the life he led before he walked out on his family and disappeared four years earlier.
Megan is an all-American girl. A cheerleader. She has a boyfriend. But Megan doesn't like kissing her boyfriend very much. And she's pretty touchy with her cheerleader friends. Her conservative parents worry that she must be a lesbian and send her off to "sexual redirection" school, where she must, with other lesbians and gays learn how to be straight.
For young Parisian boy Antoine Doinel, life is one difficult situation after another. Surrounded by inconsiderate adults, including his neglectful parents, Antoine spends his days with his best friend, Rene, trying to plan for a better life. When one of their schemes goes awry, Antoine ends up in trouble with the law, leading to even more conflicts with unsympathetic authority figures.
