Honestly one of my comfort movies despite darker elements. But the pacing is perfect and I just love the characters.
I loved how campy it is but also loved the characterization of the main cast. The camp dwellers all have quirky things which are endearing.
This film had me giddy the whole time through and it’s incredibly funny!
Watched this when I was in the closet and fell head over heels with it. Classic. <3

One of my fave genres- I call it bubblegum dark satire. Painful themes but so funny, a treat to look at, and feel good. Watch it!
It has its dated moments but so friggin funny and heartfelt.
