Interesting take on the original story.
A good movie. One of those movies that you see at least once, though I'm not sure I'll watch it again.
It’s been a long time since I’ve watched this movie but I remember liking it. For sure going to have to rewatch soon.
Maybe i rated it to high judging it professionally but my memories around this movie dont let me rank it lower.
A forgettable origin story for the Wizard of Oz. I think almost everyone is miscast in their roles.
This adds depth to the Wizard of Oz mythos, with great actors and special effects to bring it to life.
I actually liked this movie despite what people say i like james Franco and I love the story and the world
I only remembered seeing this when it popped up. So forgettable I remember nothing I don't think I liked it even then
It wasn’t horrid, but I remember thinking when is it over.
Pretty scenery and costumes, but this movie doesn’t have much heart or depth
Honestly wanna know why we needed a 130 minute prequel to a movie that never needed a prequel
Watch this, then 6mos. later someone’ll may mention something about wizard of oz & you’ll go, “I saw that weird sequel.” That’s this movie.
Expected more but I guess it was ok. More of a one time watch.
Im gonna be honest. I only watched this as Raimi was attached. It wasnt great but i wasnt mad at it. Could be improved with less extravaganc
After my mother in law reminded me that this was a movie I remembered that I had seen it. Very forgettable.
Pointless film, not good but visually quite impressive
Just an awful adaptation to a great story/book. Don’t worth anyone’s time.
Mehh... One of James Franco’s ‘not good’ movies. There’s a plot twist but that wasn’t good.
"This is not a patch on the original which is one of my favourites but still has enough magical entertainment to keep me occupied"
Don't hate it, but I find it to be very forgettable and uneeded. I didn't enjoy the development of this world though.
