This brings so much emotional maturity to the franchise that the first didn’t. It absolutely sets the bar for the kung fu panda franchise

A really good sequel, expanding on the character's development.

A worthy sequel, elevated to a whole new level by a masterful score that is easily one of Zimmer and Powell’s best works.

One of the rare occurrences of the sequel far exceeding the predecessor like a good sequel should.
