Never thought we would be seeing more of “Esther” but happy we are. This 2nd film gives the same feels as the original & that plot twist o:
First half = is this it? Second half = lol amazing, why didn’t this section kick in 20 minutes earlier 😂😂😂
First I was annoyed that it was just a retelling of the same story as the first, then boom. Super fun watch.
Great twist in the middle, “Esther” isn’t the only one with secrets

Major improvement from the first movie. Paced well, has a cool gotcha twist and pretty good acting. Dramatic at times, but an improvement.

This was a good prequel. I didn’t know what to expect so I didn’t have high standards. Worth a watch if you enjoyed the first movie.

After losing their baby, a married couple adopt 9-year old Esther, who may not be as innocent as she seems.
After escaping from an Estonian psychiatric facility, Leena Klammer travels to America by impersonating Esther, the missing daughter of a wealthy family. But when her mask starts to slip, she is put against a mother who will protect her family from the murderous “child” at any cost.
