Had this on VHS for decades! A remarkable & passionate take on a doomed relationship! Obvs' inspired all the 50 shades books! 5* soundtrack!
Kim Basinger & Mickey Rourke had great chemistry. I’m not sure the movie would hold up today.
Nine 1/2 Weeks is the original control-based erotic drama, and it features some iconic scenes, but they don’t outsmart the disappointments.
And people think that 50 shades is a breakthrough.
If you want to watch some soft core porn with Mickey Rourke, here is your chance.
This is just such a weak film on so many different levels — yet still ever so slightly better than 50 Shades.
Food sex, that’s all I can remember and even that wasn’t great!
