Good, but not the same without Macaulay Culkin. Enjoyable nevertheless.
Doesn’t do much when compared to MG1, but if you wanted more time w/ Vada after that, then this serves that. Almost like a My Girl fan fic.
Considering "My Girl" is probably my favorite romance ever this was a massive letdown. A massively degenerated love interest.
Decent but not good enough as the 1st movie.
such a great sequel, to an amazing story! life really is full of barbaric customs and i definitely hope they all end in memories like these!
Not as good as the 1st one. The lack of Culkin's presence is mainly what's the film is missing.

the first one is so much better, but this one is watchable, even though being a silly movie.

I haven’t watched it in awhile but I just remember it being mediocre to the first. Not bad but No Macauley Culkin makes Jack a dull boy

Vada Sultenfuss is obsessed with death. Her mother is dead, and her father runs a funeral parlor. She is also in love with her English teacher, and joins a poetry class over the summer just to impress him. Thomas J., her best friend, is "allergic to everything", and sticks with Vada despite her hangups. When Vada's father hires Shelly, and begins to fall for her, things take a turn to the worse...
Vada Sultenfuss has a holiday coming up, and an assignment: to do an essay on someone she admires and has never met. She decides she wants to do an assignment on her mother, but quickly realises she knows very little about her. She manages to get her father to agree to let her go to LA to stay with her Uncle Phil and do some research on her mother.
