Audrey is impeccable in this role. Such a great remake!
The ending is undeniably awful and infuriating but everything else is so perfect that it's the only musical I have loved or even tolerated.
Watched it in school and I found it actually pretty funny and enjoyable.
It was alright. First half went slow, or that the second half was just rushed. Not sure which one. Still quite entertaining tho.
Common critique is that this is a sexist movie. On the contrary, this is not a misogynist narrative but rather a narrative about misogyny!
