Surprisingly heartfelt and full of fantastic references to classic movies. Illumination have been making really creative animation lately.

75% of the movie is the beginning, then once the plot starts it’s basically about to be over. 5/10
Felt like my brain was being slowly liquefied, the first 20 minutes are narrated and the story is so boring. You and your kids can do better

Very fun when it’s a love letter and homage to filmmaking and film history. Grinds to a halt when the monsters are introduced. I love James.
