Parts of this movie are near perfection, such a great cast working with stellar material, it’s hard not to like this
Very confusing at the start but does clear things up by the end. Quite dialogue heavy but it’s helped by great characters and performances.
The Coens at the top of their games. An interesting meditation on justice and loyalty. Well written and superbly acted.

Film is pitch perfect as homage to D. Hammet/Ray Chandler convoluted plots, style, credo. It's ultimately a cinematic master class to study.
