Oddly endearing, curious characters with a storybook feel, though the setting is as urbane as possible.
Unpopular opinion:Beautiful exploration of urban fantasy and narrative tropes, encapsulating wonder and whimsy, makes you feel like a child.
Almost convinced myself that this was better than it actually was. Like all MNS films, though, it's got a nice sentimental core.

It's a cultural bed time story come to life. It's whimsical. One of my faves from MNS up with Signs and the Village.
