This mystery will have you fully invested
Badass female lead, Morgan Freeman, and a good twist at the end. I really liked this one.
The book was brutal and horrifying. The movie couldn’t quite capture the extreme tone. Still held you to your seat. Ashley Judd was awesome
Nice neo-noir thriller... Good book adaptation too, with Freeman as the lead who pulls everything together... Good watch...
Good crime thriller with some great twists, worth watching for genre fans
It’s a pretty good suspense/mystery film and Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman do a great job and compliment each other well.
Despite Freeman not being a true Alex Cross, this movie was very well done and stands alone. They should adapt more Cross novels like this.
Watched this mostly because Morgan Freeman is in it. Turns out it wasn't a bad film. Seen it more than once since then.
It hits the right mystery beats. Freeman, Judd, and the supporting cast get the job done, but overall feels like its missing something.
Mostly good crime thriller, effectively creepy and disturbing, good performances, climax is a bit silly, still an enjoyable movie

The trail leads to Los Angeles, where the duo discovers that the psychopath may not be working alone.
After the harrowing death of his partner, detective and best-selling author Alex Cross has retreated to the peace of retirement. Teamed with the Secret Service agent assigned to protect the missing girl, Alex follows a serpentine trail of clues that leads him to a stunning discovery - the kidnapper wants more than just ransom.
