Van Damme at the high point of his career, great stuff

Tong Po is a bad man, watched this often as a kid, tried to spin kick like JCVD. I still watch from time to time, cheesy by todays standards

Good, bad movie. People will watch this for nostalgic reasons (and love it).

One of the biggest fight movies of the 80s. Made Van Damme's career.

A JVCD classic, full of badass martial arts. Classic martial arts tournament story, JVCD really shined in this one.

Dark and bloody, coreography is great, other than that, nothing special.

The nemesis Tong Po is menacing enough but story is too similar to other JCVDs to matter. JCVD has never looked better or acted worse

Not as good as bloodsport which is more or less the same thing. Fist fights with glass covered gloves is pretty metal though

Probably the best of Van Damme’s tournament style movies. It’s a simple, yet efficient story & JCVD offers plenty of his badass fighting.

Rumble in the Bronx
