Overly complicated plot. Time travel is involved. They Should've followed the outline of the 1st one. Skip this garbage.
This was so bad almost ruined the first one for me.

What in the hell was going on here? Some kind of a Forrest Gump type of journey for Joe Dirt I think. Ridiculously stupid in the worst way.
The first Joe Dirt was funny. When you add unnecessary time travel to anything good it makes it terrible to sit through.

Joe Dirt is a janitor with a mullet hairdo, acid-washed jeans and a dream to find the parents that he lost at the Grand Canyon when he was a belligerent, trailer park-raised eight-year-old. Now, blasting Van Halen in his jacked-up economy car, the irrepressibly optimistic Joe hits the road alone in search of his folks.
When happy family man Joe Dirt finds himself transported to the recent past, he begins an epic journey to get back to his loved ones in the present.
