Execution of the show was beautiful. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was Gethsemane. Legend is such a talent but it lacked power for me.
Not the best Jesus Christ Superstar I’ve ever seen, but definitely the best live tv musical I’ve ever seen
John legend and the entire cast executed it so professionally and well. The Alice cooper appearance was awesome!
John Legend is absolutely terrible as Jesus. Whoever did the casting should find a new career. The rest of the cast does pretty good.
There better productions with more rounded casts but this was solid enough. Awesome seeing Alice Cooper still in action.
I find the live television performances leave something to be desired, but this is definitely in the better of the genre.
Can we stop casting famous people for the sake of casting famous people. I don’t want to listen to people struggling to sing. Just Terrible!
