Action • PG-13 • 2008 • 2 hr 6 min
The start of a marathon. Great introduction into the superhero universe. Starts off slow then fades into the making of a hero. 6.75/10.
The movie that started it all and rightly so, it’s amazing.
Easy to forget that casting RDJ was a gamble, one that paid massive dividends. He IS Iron Man. The identity reveal proved to be a wise call.
Robert Downey Jr. is perfectly cast here and the story is crisp and compact. Some good visual effects and it’s all-in-all good fun.
Has such a different vibe from what we know the MCU to be today, still holds up and a great origin story to the MCU’s first superhero movie.
The movie that started it all my obsession and the best film franchise of all time
The beginning of the MCU that still is just as exciting as watching it in 2008!
Still one of the best comic book movies of all time
The MCU wouldn't exist without this masterpiece of a movie that still holds up after multiple viewings.
It’s a great comic book movie. RDJ is an amazing Iron-Man, and this movie is just the perfect beginning for the MCU!
