A must-see WWII movie because it’s so different than most. Usually war is like a main character. Here it is moments in the lives of kids.
World War II London as experienced by 10 year olds, playing amid the rubble & bomb craters. Unaware of the tragic circumstances.
Excellent World War II drama, worth seeing
Honest look at war through the eyes of a young boy. Lovely film.

A middle-aged man recalls his childhood growing up in and around London during World War II.
In this sequel to Hope and Glory (1987), Bill Rohan has grown up and is drafted into the army, where he and his eccentric best mate, Percy, battle their snooty superiors on the base and look for love in town.
