I expected better but Anne Hathaway does do a great job with what she's given.

I enjoy this movie but it is sad little bit
Anne Hathaway is superb, the rest of the movie not so much. Some interesting ideas, but ultimately a highly forgettable movie.
1/10 feels a billion years more antiquated than its 20 year age. So cringy and lacking self-awareness. Could have at least been dark satire.
It was alright just wasn’t quite sure that it conveyed its message well enough.
A great film. Edgy it takes you places you didn't know existed big ups to Anne.H
Gritty, reckless, and intense—messy choices make for compelling drama. 🌪️🔥
6/10. Hathaway boobs though, so theres that.

A wealthy Los Angeles teen and her superficial friends wants to break out of suburbia and experience Southern California's "gangsta" lifestyle. But problems arise when the preppies get in over their heads and provoke the wrath of a violent Latino gang. Suddenly, their role-playing seems a little too real.
High school student Wendy has an odd relationship with her five friends: They're openly sexual with each other, swapping partners every week. But this is all thrown into turmoil when she meets Sean, a new student in school who has a crush on her. Wendy wants to be with Sean, but doesn't want to disappoint her friends, whom she has known since grade school. When she does decide to leave them, her best friend, Billie, threatens revenge.
